After nearly 10 years off the air, “Wife Swap” is making its triumphant return to the small screen.
The new trailer for the hit reality series, which aired from 2004-2010 before returning with celebrities from 2012-2015, features some strange new swaps between witches, pro wrestlers and even a circus family.
In the new reboot, the premise stays the same with two spouses agreeing to switch families trying out the same rules and lifestyles of the spouses they replaced. During their swap, they are responsible for taking care of the house, kids, chores, hobbies and careers of the counterpart.
The new trailer teases one young boy wasn’t impressed with the new arrangements, claiming their new mom “should expect torture… hours and hours of torture.”
Kate Gosselin and Kendra Wilkinson once swapped houses and families for a week during the celebrity run of the series, as did the late Alan Thicke and Gilbert Gottfried, Bristol and Willow Palin and the late Joan Rivers and her daughter Melissa Rivers, as well as Coolio and Mark McGrath.
“Wife Swap” returns Feb. 13.
