“Doctor Who” bosses have cast the show’s first ever black Doctor.

History was made during Sunday’s episode, “Fugitive of the Judoon”, as it was revealed that Jo Martin would be playing the first black incarnation of the character.

Martin took on the role of a tour guide named Ruth Clayton in the latest instalment. However, it was eventually confirmed she wasn’t a tour guide at all and was instead revealed as a previously unknown incarnation of the time-travelling favourite.
