Tyra Banks Praises Gabrielle Union For How ‘Vulnerable’ She Was In ‘AGT’ Claims

Tyra Banks is praising Gabrielle Union for revealing the way she was treated by NBC and “America’s Got Talent”.

Last year, Union called out the “toxic culture” of the show including racism and sexism.

Banks spoke to Yahoo! Entertainment about her time hosting the show for two seasons.

“I almost kind of like dipped my toe in and left, so I’m not really immersed in the culture,” Banks said. “Like people ask me about Victoria’s Secret, I can wax poetic about that — I was there for 10 years.”

The former “America’s Next Top Model” host added that she is proud of Union for expressing herself.

“What I love about what she did is she was very vulnerable. I wasn’t super close to it, but I saw some of her tweets,” Banks said. “I thought it was maybe beautiful… how she wasn’t speaking in anger, she’s speaking in pain like ‘I’m trying to get through this… and I’m crying.’”

Banks added that she thought it was “beautiful” the way husband Dwyane Wade supported her.
