Matthew Perry shared his first Instagram post after joining the social media platform on Thursday.
The actor captioned a clip of his “Friends” character Chandler Bing dancing with the caption, “This is how thrilled I am to finally be on Instagram. So, here we go…”
Perry’s “Friends” co-star Lisa Kudrow confirmed the actor is following Jennifer Aniston’s footsteps and had created an Insta account on Feb. 6.
She posted, alongside a picture of the pair: “Finally!!! Yay!! Can’t believe my eyes MY EYES. Welcome to Instagram @mattyperry4 #friendsforlife.”
Kudrow was not the only “Friends” alum to express their excitement.

Perry had previously posted, which many took to be reunion news.
One fan then replied:

Despite this, lots of people were thrilled about Perry joining the ‘gram.

And while Perry’s “big news” wasn’t a reunion, the same day it was revealed that the cast has reportedly finally reached a deal for an unscripted reunion special on HBO Max.
