Jackie Chan is a living legend.

He has been making movies for 53 years – directing them for 33 years – and Jackie is only 59!

I had the pleasure of sitting down with Hong Kong’s best known film star in Toronto and he wasted no time calling the shots.

Before my interview started, Jackie did a quick doc-style video to a camera on his latest film Chinese Zodiac and politely asked for “quiet”; on-set, then yelled out 3,2,1…

It was brilliant to see him take over a room filled with media.

He’s such a fun, cheeky, lovable man who is truly passionate about film and everything that goes into making it.

Unfortunately I only had eight minutes of talking time with Jackie, but could have sat and chatted with him for at least an hour.

In that quick eight-minute chat – I listened to interesting stories he shared. Like the time he broke his ankle on the set of Rumble in the Bronx in the morning, but insisted on getting back on-set that same afternoon once the doctor put a cast on his leg. Or his constant rift with Hollywood to make more Rush Hour-type movies, to his love for his two adorable Panda bears “LA’ and “ZY’. And if Jackie’s buddy Sylvester Stallone will actually put him in the next Expendables 3 movie.
