Lesson learned! Don’t mess with Taylor Swift, and especially not her fans.

Retailer Abercrombie & Fitch have pulled a white t-shirt from store shelves after receiving major backlash from her fans – also known as Swifties –  for its judgmental message. “# more boyfriends than t.s.,”; read the top, making an obvious reference to the singer’s revolving door of love interests.

This came after super-Swiftie Emma Worley, from Herminie, Pennsylvania, started a petition on Change.org urging the company to “take away”; the offensive t-shirt “because it’s hurtful to Taylor Swift and Swifties everywhere!”;

But could one hardly challenge the t-shirt’s message? It’s been rumoured the 23-year-old superstar was linked with famous suitors Tom Odell, Harry Styles, Connor Kennedy, Jake Gyllenhaal and John Mayer, just to name a few. Back in May, close friend and fellow musician Ed Sheeran came to Taylor’s defence.  “The rumour that she dates a lot of people is a misconception. In the time I’ve known her, which has been almost two years now, she has dated two people. Fact.”

Abercrombie & Fitch took to their Twitter account to publicly apologize to all Taylor fans. “Hey #swifties we no longer sell the tshirt. We <3 Taylor’s music and think she’s awesome!,”; tweeted the shamed all-American brand.

Peace has now been restored among all Swifties.
