Lindsay Lohan is back with new music.
The singer/actress, who hasn’t released new tunes since 2005, dropped her latest track “Back To Me” Friday.
Lohan, a regular Instagrammer, recently wiped her feed clean with the teaser for the song being the only post remaining.
The visual featured a montage of media clips from throughout Lohan’s career, with reporters speaking in the background, and at the very end, Lohan whispered, “I’m back.”
On Wednesday, Lohan followed up with another tweet, this time offering a snippet of her new single.
“The song is about rediscovering and accepting oneself, shutting out the noise and moving forward and letting the past go,” she wrote. “Living in the now.”
Earlier this year, Lohan promised she would be back in the spotlight. During an interview with Andy Cohen she revealed, “I want to really focus on me and everything that I can do in my life and come back to America and start filming again, which I’m doing something soon in this new year.”
Lohan is set to return to the big screen later this year in “Among The Shadows”, her first role in a feature film since 2013’s “The Canyons”.
