Flipping the bird in the pages of Bullett magazine’s wild issue, This Is The End star Jonah Hill talks about his upcoming 30th birthday, how he found out he was nominated for an Academy Award and his legions of fans.

“I’m growing up,”; Jonah says about his impending birthday.  “My friends are growing up. I’ve gotten to live a bit of a rock star life and now I’m contemplating if that’s what I’m still interested in.”;

He’s got to be kidding – right? After trying to play down those photos we saw of Jonah partying it up in Cannes with Leonardo DiCaprio, the actor continues with a helping of humble pie, describing how he found out he was nominated for an Academy Award for his role in Moneyball.

“You always see those videos of people sitting with their family members, waiting for the news, but I was just kicking it in bed watching TV, “; he says.

On his approach to his career: “All I ever wanted to be was, like, regarded. A genuine fear of mine was that I was going to be known as “The Guy from Superbad,’ for the rest of my life.”

But he is still selective with his work, revealing two big roles he passed up – not only did he decline Todd Phillips to play “any of the three main parts in The Hangover,”; the actor said “no”; to Michael Bay’s offer to be in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen as well.  “They were both really big decisions, and ones that most people didn’t understand,”; he says. “I knew I could be a dramatic actor, but I also knew I couldn’t go from Superbad to Schindler’s List.”;

And we agree! Although things seem to be looking up for Jonah, he’s teaming up with his yacht buddy in The Wolf of Wall Street and getting ready to be back in blue with Channing Tatum in the sequel to 21 Jump Street.

Now we all know that with recognition, comes fame and with fame comes the fans.  What does Jonah think about people lining up to see him?  “It was like a crime scene. I thought, “What the f**k is this?'”; the actor says.  “My agent was like, “They’re here for you, Jonah.’ I kind of thought I was at the height of people knowing who I was before that. I thought it couldn’t get any crazier.”;
