After the recent flooding in Calgary, the Stampede had to cancel its concert series that would’ve taken place at the Saddledome.
The cancelled concerts include Carly Rae Jepsen on Wednesday, July 10, Tim McGraw on Thursday, July 11, Dixie Chicks on Friday, July 12 and KISS on Saturday, July 13.
We regret to announce that the Stampede Concert Series will not be going ahead as planned. Read here for more info: http://t.co/5j4TmMNZ0C

//platform.twitter.com/widgets.jsStars have been Tweeting their support for the city and their regrets about not being able to perform at the event:
Thoughts, prayers and love to everyone affected by the flooding in Calgary. Needed 2 postpone our show this week, but it won’t keep us away — Tim McGraw (@TheTimMcGraw) July 3, 2013
But the concert cancellations won’t keep the Big Brother Canada stars and astronaut Chris Hadfield – who will be a marshall at the parade – away from the festivities.
As soon as I get to Calgary tomorrow, I’m buying one of these. http://t.co/UOQN75qcGX
