The controversy surrounding Paula Deen just doesn’t stop. Just this week, the celebrity chef replaced her lead legal team after the fallout from her admission she used racial slurs and has retained Grace Speights, an attorney for Morgan, Lewis & Bockius.
While many of her fans have turned their backs on the Queen of Southern Cuisine, there’s one person who thinks she’s already ready for a comeback – Dancing With The Stars pro Cheryl Burke.
“I think you’d probably see a different side of her and I think she would be a great addition to the cast,”; the ballroom star told ET Canada when we caught up with her in Toronto. “I think coming on something light and fun would be something good for her,”; explained Cheryl , who not only addressed the rumours about Paula being courted by the show, but shared her opinion on how she thought the controversial chef would do as a contestant.
As for the the other rumours about the judging panel shake-up with Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli, Cheryl told us, “I don’t really know exactly what’s going to happen with the judges but I love all three of those judges. I think it would be great to have a guest judge come in every single week.”;
After partnering up with Rob Kardashian during 13 season, Cheryl became a close friend of his famous reality family and, just last week she met Kim and Kanye’s new baby North. Tune-in to ET Canada tonight to find out all the adorable details of their meeting at 7:30 ET/PT!
