As they await the toxicology results, scheduled to be released today, friends and family of Cory Monteith are still mourning the death of the talented Glee star, and trying to make sense of what happened after his body was found in a Vancouver hotel on July 13.
Vancouver Police told ET Canada last night that although they haven’t ruled out any possibilities, Sgt. Randy Fincham says, “We are releasing that we don’t believe foul play was involved in the case of Mr. Monteith’s death.”;
His family, shocked by the news of their loved one’s sudden passing, is is in the process of making funeral arrangements, and Cory’s father Joe Monteith told Global News, he’s “devastated”; by his son’s death.
While Cory’s Glee co-star, Darren Criss, stepped out in support of his new film, Girl Most Likely, with Kristen Wiig, he posed for photos, but skipped out on the press line and this morning cancelled his scheduled appearances on Good Morning America and Live! with Kelly and Michael (as did Matthew Morrison). In honour of his friend, who was taken too soon, the star who plays Blaine Anderson on the show wore a simple black ribbon on his left lapel.
We have what could be the last photo of the late star and his girlfriend Lea Michele in tonight’s show.
Plus, tonight on ET Canada we will also bring you more updates about the toxicology results, share news on Cory’s last films, as well as show his first interview with us and his Glee audition tape.
