The palace announced last month, the new parents were waiting until the baby was born to find out whether they were having a little prince or princess.

We previously learned that Wills was planning to be “present at the birth”; when the Duchess of Cambridge delivered the future King or Queen in the private Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s hospital in central London. This is the same hospital in which the late Princess Diana gave birth to both Prince William and Prince Harry.

The notice held in a purple document has been signed by the Queen’s former gynaecologist Marcus Setchell, who led the medical team that delivered Kate’s baby and has been posted at Buckingham Palace announcing the birth and saying both mother and baby are doing well.

We’re still awaiting word on a name for the little one which will be announced in “due course.”;
