Ever since The Bachelorette, I often find myself getting asked the question, “What are you up to these days?” My answer is always the same: life right now is business as usual…
Which means I am CRAZY busy! But, of course, I’m not complaining – that’s exactly how I like it. I love having my creative juices flowing ALL the time, which is why my blog is the perfect outlet! There, you can keep up with me, and get inspired for anything, really: a room, a party, an outfit, or just daily dinner plans. Just call me the new Martha Stewart 
On weekdays you can find me running around Vancouver designing and filming the new season of Love It or List It Vancouver. It just started airing in the US this summer, which is super exciting! And then, every weekend I commute to Kelowna, where I call home, to spend time with my love, family and friends.
But, these days, what is definitely dominating my brain cells and making my heart pitter-patter is my latest venture, my dream come true: Charlie Ford Vintage. This is my baby and something that my cousin Tori and I have been dreaming about since we were little kids.
Charlie Ford Vintage is an online store for curated antiques and vintage treasures. We’ve taken our favourite gorgeous old things from vendors across North America – think furniture, home décor, art, jewellery and accessories – and combined them with today’s most modern, convenient way to shop to allow customers to find their perfect vintage piece, all in the click of a button (yes, we ship across Canada AND the United States – yahoo!). Don’t know where to go to find beautiful antiques? Not sure what to buy, or whether the value is there? Don’t know how to haggle? We’ve taken all of those questions and eliminated them with Charlie Ford Vintage. And the result will be the same: owning a genuine vintage piece that is beautifully unique and will do wonders for making any space more warm and welcoming. I love everything vintage and I can’t imagine any room missing out on that charm that a vintage piece injects into a space… or party!!!
The best part is that we are adding new items every single Monday morning! There is always something new and exciting to covet on the site. On top of that, we host weekly ‘theme sales’ – basically curated collections of items to suit a specific theme or occasion in our customers’ lives. Right now we’re featuring a Vintage Wedding sale for all those summer and fall brides, and we have some beautiful pieces that will make a wedding so classy and sophisticated! These pretty silver butter dishes (here and here) are making me want to be a wedding designer too… I would put a unique butter dish on every table! How cute would that look?
