In his new thriller Paranoia Liam Hemsworth plays Adam Cassady, an entry level employee who gets roped into a dangerous corporate spy game between two tycoons played by Gary Oldman and Harrison Ford. But when the tables are turned and Adam discovers he’s also being watched, he has a hard time dealing with what is real and what is in his head, something The Hunger Games star can relate to.

Liam’s quick rise to fame and his high profile relationship with Miley Cyrus have made him a tabloid target, which is why he’s always looking over his shoulder: “I could be in the middle of nowhere and nobody around, but you still sort of have that thought, “I wonder if there is a photographer somewhere?'”; he reveals to ET Canada when we caught up to talk about his latest project.

The theme of privacy is just as central to the film as it is in Liam’s real-life, with his on-again off-again romance with Miley constantly causing media frenzy. In the last couple of weeks rumours were flying that they were back together when the pop star joined him at the Paranoia premiere in LA, but that flipped again when they were absent from each other’s sides at the Teen Choice Awards.

So when we asked about the status of their wedding plans and their engagement, announced last summer, the usually tight-lipped star laughs and says, “Nothing in stone.”;

Watch Liam talk about the nuptials and his own fears on ET Canada tonight.
