Paul McCartney teams up with Johnny Depp and Natalie Portman for his new self-directed “My Valentine” videos.  There are actually three black and white videos, one featuring Natalie signing to the lyrics, another featuring Johnny playing guitar a third video is a combination of the two.  All versions were shot on 35mm film with the help of “The Dark Knight” and “Inception” cinematographer, Wally Pfister.

Paul premiered the video at daughter Stella McCartney’s West Hollywood boutique in front of a star-studded crowd, including Pamela Anderson, Reese Witherspoon, Kristen Stewart, Gwen Stefani, Gwyneth Paltrow and Woody Harrelson.

When the legendary musician took to the stage to introduce the video, he explained it was originally Stella’s idea to involve Natalie and Johnny: “Five or six months ago, Stella said: “Do you have a video for the song? You know that Natalie can [do] sign [language].'”

The song is one of two original compositions from Paul’s latest album “‘Kisses on the Bottom”. Also on the album are standards Paul grew up listening to in his childhood, and recorded with producer Tommy LiPuma and Diana Krall.
