Here’s hoping Sarah Palin does something really embarrassing between now and Sept. 28, when Tina Fey will return to Studio 8H to host the season premiere of Saturday Night Live.
This will mark Fey’s fourth appearance as guest host since leaving the show, on which she spent numerous seasons as head writer and co-anchor of Weekend Update before going out on her own with 30 Rock. Fey will be joined by Montreal’s Arcade Fire as musical guest to kick off the show’s 39th season.
Fey will be followed by Miley Cyrus, who’ll be host and musical guest (hopefully with no twerking) on Oct. 5, while Bruce Willis has been tapped to host on Oct. 12, when he’ll be joined by musical guest Katy Perry.
In addition to Fey’s return, the season premiere will also introduce several new cast members , brought in to replace departing vets Jason Sudeikis, Bill Hader and Fred Armisen.
The season premiere of Saturday Night Live airs Saturday, Sept. 28 on Global.
