The nominees for the annual Country Music Awards were announced today and the big news is that Taylor Swift has finally met her match.
Newcomer Kacey Musgraves tied Swift with six nominations, including “top female vocalist,”; “album of the year”; and “single of the year”; for her song “Merry Go-Round.”; Meanwhile husband and wife Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert are also facing a duel, with five nominations each. This year’s awards will be hosted by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood. Held in Nashville, TN, the show will air November 6th.
