Prince William and Prince Harry morphed into superstar stockbrokers for the day and did it all in the name of charity. The royals commemorated the 12th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks by raising big bucks for charitable foundations worldwide.

The brothers took to the phones of BCG Partners Brokerage to raise funds for the company’s 2013 Charity Day, an annual event in memory of the 658 BGC employees lost during the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Towers in New York.

Prince Harry, who negotiated higher donations with callers, proved to be the better fundraiser. “150? How about we make that 200?”; he told one caller. But together the royal duo managed to broker an astonishing 25 billion (yes, billion!) Euro trade and even smashed BGC’s existing record for a forward foreign exchange trade. “Bloody hell, was that a billion?!”; Prince Harry said, the Telegraph reports.

And while somber memories were at the forefront of the event, William and Harry kept the mood light by cracking jokes at each other’s expense. Harry, who complained about William’s “baby chat”; quipped,”;Stop flirting, get on with it,”; to his brother.

Money raised from the successful event will be shared amongst several local and international charities, including SkillForce and WellChild , on which Prince William and Prince Harry serve as patrons, respectively. Well done boys!
