Blink 182 Rock Brooklyn For Intimate Charity Gig

By Chandler Levack, .

Blink 182 may still be wondering what their age is but they’re as relevant as ever. The three-piece reunited at the Music Hall of Williamsburg yesterday for an intimate show to raise money for New York’s Randolph Hearst Burn Center and LA’s City Of Hope, a cancer research clinic.

They played through a catalogue of fan favourites that included “Rock Show,”; “Dammit”; and “I Miss You.”; Notably, shirtless drummer Travis Baker, who was the only survivor of a horrific plane crash five years ago, didn’t seem to have a scrape on him. The treatments from Randolph Hearst saved his life.

While the crazy concert was steered by a more mature Blink 182, the band still knows how to party. “We’re not drinking water,”; said guitarist Tom DeLonge onstage. “We’re drinking vodka.”;

Watch the fan-shot highlights below. (And watch for the security guard singing along to “I Miss You”; at 45 seconds!)
