The nominees are in for this year’s Billboard Music Awards, taking place on Sunday, May 23.
The Weeknd is the most nominated music star with a whopping 16 nods, including Top Artist, Top Male Artist and Top Hot 100 Artist.

The Canadian superstar’s 2020 album After Hours received multiple nods, while his hit single “Blinding Lights” will be recognized in five categories.
DaBaby is the second-top finalist with 11 nods, including nominations for Top Hot 100 Artist, Top Rap Artist, and Top Rap Album.
Meanwhile, “I Hope” singer Gabby Barrett is the female artist with the most nods this year, as a finalist in nine categories, including Top New Artist.
Finalists were revealed during an exclusive live stream hosted by Access Hollywood’s Zuri Hall and comedian LaLa Milan on Thursday, April 29.

Presenters included Anitta, FINNEAS, Luis Fonsi, Rob Gronkowski, Paris Hilton, Leslie Jordan, Tate McRae, and Jay Pharoah.
The annual BBMA live broadcast showcases spectacular performances, unexpected collaborations, buzzworthy pop culture moments and the prestigious ICON Award, which honours record-breaking artists and their impact on music.
