Neil Young has played the FarmAid benefit since 1985, often deploying his earth-friendly songs “Homegrown’ and “Mother Earth.’ But this time around, Young took an unorthodox approach, strictly playing covers by his favourite artists.

An eclectic setlist included Gordon Lightfoot’s “Early Morning Rain,’ Bob Dylan’s “Blowin In The Wind’ and Tim Hardin’s gorgeous anthem “Reason To Believe’ performed by Young on a gigantic organ.
