Former Hannah Montana star turned twerking enthusiast, Miley Cyrus has solidified her new image with her latest single “Wrecking Ball,”; swinging naked on a wrecking ball wearing only a pair of burgundy Doc Martens.
If you thought that Miley’s presence in the headlines couldn’t get any stronger, it seems the “Wrecking Ball”; controversy will continue, but this time the singer’s got some serious competition.
Rumer Willis took to the stage Tuesday night at Sayers Club in Hollywood and belted out an impressive cover of the song, proving that there might be a little more to the pop ballad than the graphic video. Watch her convincing performance below.
And it seems that “Wrecking Ball”; has struck a chord with some other musically inclined ladies, Este, Danielle and Alana Haim who along with their drummer Dash Hutton put their own spin on the song at the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge.
