Jonah Hill is re-sparking his Baby Yoda feud.
In the newest exchange in the ongoing joke with the “Mandalorian” star, Hill shared a video to Instagram that is allegedly “not” from Baby Yoda.
“I’m gonna say this once and once only. This black eye is from my surfboard,” the actor says stoically into the camera. “It is not from a fistfight I got into with Baby Yoda because of our falling out.”
He continued in the caption, “That being said I do officially challenge Baby Yoda to a @verzuztv battle”.
Sounds like the famous feud between the actors could be headed in a musical direction with the virtual DJ battle webcast.
“And @disneyplus definitely did NOT pay me off to protect the fact that one of their marquee stars has a big mouth and would definitely catch hands if he didn’t sucker punch me with his little baby green fist,” he joked.
The hilarious pseudo-feud began with a quote from a W Magazine interview with the “Don’t Look Up” actor, where he revealed Leonardo DiCaprio encouraged him to watch “The Mandalorian”.
“I used to have a rule: If it didn’t happen or it couldn’t happen, then I just wasn’t interested, because I would lose focus,” he explained. “Leo made me watch ‘The Mandalorian’ when we were making ‘Don’t Look Up,’ and it was like, Baby Yoda was so cute, but I just didn’t give a f— because I didn’t know anything that it was about.”
The actor previously took to Instagram to share a screengrab of an article which made it seem “like he’s feuding with baby Yoda.”
“LOL is there anything cornier than literally all media,” wrote Hill. “They’re literally trying to create beef between me and Baby Yoda.”
Insisting that things between him and Baby Yoda are all good, he joked, “Baby Yoda and I are dear friends and text at least once a week. We may not be text every day type of friends and yes Covid put a strain on our friendship, but we are all good. And that’s all I will say on this matter ! Now please respect our privacy at this time.”
