Natalie Portman has been keeping it low key since she gave birth to her son Aleph in 2011, but the Black Swan actress is back and hotter than ever on the cover of Marie Claire“s November issue.
Big changes are in store for the star and she’ll be relocating to France soon, where her man Benjamin Millepied will be taking over as director of the Paris Opera Ballet. “It’s one of the most exciting places to be in the world right now – I’m really lucky,”; she tells the magazine: “When Ben asked me if I wanted to go to Paris, I freaked. Everyone dreams of living in Paris.”
Fans have been itching to see more of Natalie since her Oscar win and now she’ll be taking over the big screen once again in this month’s blockbuster Thor: The Dark World. While she’s had her fair share of admirers, like everyone, Natalie admits she’s had her fair share of awful run-ins as well. “People are really cool, by and large. I try and stay away from drunk people – that’s when they start getting rude and aggressive, like, ‘Why did you suck in that movie?'”
It’s hard to imagine America’s sweetheart butting-heads with anyone, but she says she’s learned to handle a bit of heat. “I don’t like confrontation, but I’m probably less afraid of it now. I wouldn’t say I’m confrontational. But I say my opinion, I realize how much non-confrontation was about trying to have everyone like me.”
