Community“s breakout star Donald Glover is speaking out about the troubling posts he sent out via his Instagram account on Monday. The comedian, who posted photos of seven cryptic handwritten notes to his account, explained that he just need a moment to get some things off his chest.
“That night, we had a show, and then afterwards, I had this moment of feeling like, “What’s the point? Why am I even here?'”; he told People magazine, adding that, “I just wanted to write down my feelings. I definitely was just expressing myself.”;
The notes, which were all written on hotel stationery paper, displayed a slew of personal issues involving his career, love life and family.
But despite the social media over share Donald says he’s happy he shared his feelings. “I’m glad people saw it. I feel like I got some stuff out there,”; the 30-year-old actor says. “I got it off my chest. It felt like I had been holding on to something.”;
“If I’m depressed, everybody’s depressed,”; he added. “I don’t think those feelings are that different from what everybody’s feeling. Most people just don’t tell everybody.”;
Despite his Community departure and rocky music career Donald is still keeping busy. The 30-year-old actor is slated to write, executive produce and star in Atlanta, a new comedy series for FX.
