After shocking fans by pulling the plug on the upcoming Jonas Brothers tour last week due to “a deep rift within the band,”; Joe Jonas is refusing to answer questions about what went down with his bandmate brothers.
According to People, Joe was asked to comment about the tour cancellation while he attended a Beverly Hills gala last night, but he remained tight-lipped. “I’m not going to talk about that right now,”; he said.
However, Joe did drop some hints about his future plans, which include going into the studio as a producer and possibly doing a little acting. “I think acting would be fun,”; he said. “I would like to [get into that].”;
In fact, People reports Joe has confirmed he’s working as a producer, but wouldn’t reveal which acts he’s working with.
The Jonas Brothers cancelled their tour two days before it was set to begin, with JoBros rep Jesse Derris saying, “There is a deep rift within the band. There was a big a disagreement over their music direction.”;
So far, neither Joe nor brothers Nick and Kevin have commented about the 11th-hour decision — and don’t look to the band’s Twitter account for answers, as they cancelled it yesterday.
