That’s right! The former “Idol’ champion, 31, tied the knot over the weekend and took to Twitter to break the news to her fans. Throughout the past 24 hours, Clarkson has tweeted several pics — featuring her new hubby Brandon Blackstock, 36, as well as her stunning wedding dress — all with the singer sporting an unforgettable smile with the gorgeous Tennessee  countryside as a backdrop.

For the ultra-private event, Kelly chose the elegant Temperley London “Jessamine’ white lace dress and opted for a Maria Elene headpiece instead of the traditional veil. The gown’s wide deep-v neckline and sheer sleeves added interest and Kelly’s soft whispy updo completed the romantic bridal look.

Kelly thanked all involved in creating the look via Twitter, including former American Idol contestant Jim Verraros who collaborated with Maria Elene for Kelly’s custom bejewelled headpiece.

Adding to Clarkson’s week is the impending release of Wrapped In Red,  her first Christmas album, featuring old and new favourites for the yuletide season. The girl clearly likes to keep busy!
