The Bachelorette franchise is coming north of the border and ET Canada can finally introduce you to the very first Canadian Bachelorette! Jasmine Lorimer, 27, will be looking for love, handing out roses and presumably breaking some hearts when the series premieres on W Network in September. “I have no idea what’s in store, I just know it’s going to be incredible,” the new “Bachelorette Canada”; tells Erin Cebula on a recent photo shoot in Vancouver. “It’s going to be fun, it’s going to be wild.”

The Kenora-born beauty, who now calls British Columbia home, says the opportunity to be on the show came about at the right time in her life. “I’ve been feeling a bit restless,” the hairstylist/model reveals. “I’ve dated here and there and I haven’t found anything that works,” Lorimer admits. “I hadn’t really been too good at dating.”

Well Lorimer is about to embark on a lot of dates, so she’ll have many opportunities to get it right and she says she’s confident she will. “I think I won’t have a problem finding it because there’s 20 guys and chances are there’s going to be someone in there I click with,” she says. “And they’ve hand-picked these guys and apparently they’re amazing.”

Presiding over all the romance will be the host of “The Bachelorette Canada”;, Noah Cappe. He previously hosted “Carnival Eats”; on Food Network Canada but he admits, “The Bachelor”; and “Bachelorette”; are his real guilty pleasure. “This is crazy. I’m excited because I’m a fan of the show,” he says. “To be part of a brand and a franchise like this is not only exciting from a career standpoint but super exciting as a fan.”

Cappe says he’ll not only act as host, but also a shoulder to cry on for Lorimer should she need it. “Like a guardian angel for our “Bachelorette,'” he says. “Someone that she knows in the midst of this process that she can come to, that she can talk to.”

As for how the Canadian version will differ from the American? Cappe doesn’t see much of a difference. “The Canadian version, the only thing I think will kind of be different are the people,” he says. “I’m a little bit biased being a good Canadian boy, but we’ve got an amazing group of Bachelors and our Bachelorette is the best and I feel like they represent Canada.”
