Jamie Dornan has been chosen as the new Christian Grey in the upcoming “Fifty Shades of Grey’ movie according to The Hollywood Reporter. Negotiations with the Northern-Irish actor and Universal Studios are now underway.
After Charlie Hunnam, the original actor who was set to play Christian Grey, dropped out a few weeks ago, there were many speculations on who the replacement would be.
The 31-year-old actor stars in the U.K’s series “The Fall,’ and starred in ABC’s “Once Upon A Time.’ He has also modeled for Dior, Calvin Klein and Armani.
While Universal Studios did not make a comment and has not confirmed, execs tested Jamie on Friday, and also Billy Magnussen to see which ones had the right appeal for the role.
Jamie will be starring with Dakota Johnson who falls passionately in love with Jamie’s character, Christian.
