Murray was originally sentenced to four years in jail, but served just shy of two after a change in a California law cut down his time behind bars.
Following his conviction in 2011, the former cardiologist has had his licenses revoked from the three states he practiced medicine. Murray was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in the death of Jackson in June 2009. The former doctor was administering lethal doses of the sleep aid anesthetic propofol to the music icon.
