In the midst of all the catwalk chaos during Toronto Fashion Week, fashion lovers gathered at a chic Holt Renfrew underground party to celebrate the arrival of Italian designer, Fausto Puglisi. The designer has fans on both runways and red carpets around the world, and is known for his strong and sexy designs. His fall/winter 2015 collection stunned the fashion pack and heralded the arrival of fashion’s new “King of Bling.”
At the party however, all eyes were on one of fashion’s favourite frontrow fixtures and long-time Fausto devotee, Sylvia Mantella. To mark Fausto’s first ever visit to Toronto, Mantella donned a piece from the Puglisi archives; an embellished cropped jacket with a colourful geometric mini skirt.
Mantella is a huge fan, and said of Fausto, “as incredible as a designer he is, he’s an incredible human being.”
Fausto Puglisi is currently sold in over 160 boutiques worldwide and is available in Canada at Holt Renfrew.
