After tense contract negotiations held up the film, Deadline reports that Warner Bros, and producers Mark Wahlberg and Steve Levinson stepped in to close offers this weekend, with all five actors now getting some of the movie’s $30 million backend. Jeremy Piven tweeted ET Canada saying he had been signed on since August, with a piece of the profit-participation pie. And although the details have not been made public, the report claims that the other cast members held out on closing similar deals.
Jerry Ferrara recently sat down with Wendy Williams and opened up about his optimism about the Emmy and Golden Globe winning HBO series becoming a reality. “It’s looking good,”; the actor told her. “We’re hoping to shoot in January.”; And now that the stars have aligned, the film’s scheduled January shoot date will stay on track which means that the production will be able to take advantage of the 20% tax credit it got from the California Film Commission program earlier this year.
Are you excited that “Entourage”; is back?
