Anticipation is building about the upcoming revival of “Twin Peaks”;, especially with today marking the 25th anniversary of the show’s cliffhanger season finale.
In fact, the occasion was commemorated on Twitter by Agent Cooper himself, with Kyle MacLachlan tweeting a celebratory GIF to honour the anniversary:

After a rocky start and some bumpy negotiations, co-creator David Lynch, MacLachlan and other stars of the original are set to return to the creepiest town in the Pacific Northwest, with new episodes expected to air on Showtime sometime next year.
