Angelina Jolie In Talks To Star In ‘Murder On The Orient Express’

Angelina Jolie is in early talks to star in Kenneth Branagh’s adaptation of Agatha Christie’s “Murder On The Orient Express.”

Branagh is both directing and producing the picture and will star as lead character Hercule Poirot. Ridley Scott, Simon Kinberg and Mark Gordon are producing alongside Branagh.

“Orient Express” revolves around a murder on the famous train, and follows detective Poirot as he attempts to hunt down the killer. Christie first published the unconventional story in 1934.

The 1974 adaptation of the mystery novel starred Lauren Bacall, Ingrid Bergman and Sean Connery.
