While Zac Efron and The Rock are patrolling the beaches in the upcoming “Baywatch”; reboot, a pair of musicians from Third Eye Blind are doing the job for real, with TMZ reporting that front man Stephan Jenkins and drummer Brad Hargreaves saved four young swimmers off the North Carolina coast.
As TMZ reports, Jenkins and Hargreaves were surfing Wednesday at North Carolina’s Carolina Beach when they heard the boys — aged 12 to 15 — yelling for help as they struggled to free themselves from a rip current that quickly dragged them out to sea more than 100 yards.

“We’re told the bandmates paddled to the boys, then let them rest on their surfboards … before padding safely back to shore.”;
Third Eye Blind manager Luke McNees tells TMZ that the boys are all fine, and grateful for the rock “n’ roll rescue.
