Kanye doesn't like losing, ever!
In 2007 Kanye was unhappy with the MTV Video Music Awards, especially because he was shunned from five potential awards. In true Kanye style a rant ensued backstage with West saying, "I lost to the f****** Black Eyed Peas last year, man. I>m never f****** coming back to MTV."He did however go back.

Kanye on Conan
In 2008 Kanye appeared on Late Night with Conan O'Brien to promote his album 808s & Heartbreak, among other things. West seemed more quiet than usual and while Conan tried to keep the jokes flowing West eventually cut the host off and said, "Sidebar: I have to use the bathroom really, really bad."

Kanye gets physical
In September 2008, Kanye got into a serious altercation with a member of the paparazzi at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), which eventually led to West and his bodyguard smashing the 'paps' camera. The outrage turned into a police situation and Kanye was charged with three misdemeanors of vandalism, battery and grand theft. Apparently his bail was set at $20,000. When Kanye says "no pictures" he means it.

Kanye Disses Taylor Swift
At the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards Kanye raced the stage while Taylor Swift accepted her award for "Best Female Video". Not only did Kanye physically get up on stage and pretty much rip T-Swift's award from her, he also grabbed the mic and let everyone know that Beyonce should've won for "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)". West thought Beyonce had 'one of the best videos of all time.'

Kanye is Jesus....sort of
Kanye West has never been shy about his glorified image of himself. In 2006 he made sure that Rolling Stone was part of the narrative. It may have been fairly early in his career, but his confidence (or cockiness) had already taken shape. He posed as a "new form" of Jesus Christ on the magazine's cover, which made a lot of people angry, and then went on to say, "In America, they want you to accomplish these great feats, to pull off these David Copperfield-type stunts," he said. "But let someone ask you about what you're doing, and if you turn around and say, 'It's great,' then people are like, 'What's wrong with you?' You want me to be great, but you don't ever want me to say I'm great?"Moral of the story is Kanye wants you to think and say he's great.

Kanye's 'ego' makes it onto South Park
Most of the time Kanye doesn't like or want anyone mocking him, even in animation form, but somehow South Park got Kanye sad instead of angry. In an episode entitled "Fishtsicks", Kanye is portrayed as a gay fish with a super huge ego. The episode sees one of the characters (Jimmy) boasting about a big joke he wrote. Then comes Kanye who ends up being the only person not to get the joke. Furthermore, since Kanye has such a big ego he can't admit that he doesn't get the joke because afterall he is a genius. In a once-in-a-lifetime sullen moment Kanye responded, 'As long as people think I act like a b-h this type of s-t will happen to me,' he wrote on his blog, kanyeuniversity.com. 'I got a long road ahead of me to make people believe I>m not actually a huge douche but I>m up for the challenge.'

Kanye needs to perform in the dark
People love going to outdoor music festivals like Bonnaroo, but not everyone digs waiting forever to see an artist. In a controversial performance that commenced at 4:30 in the morning (an hour and 45 minutes late), Kanye West took to the stage. Kanye later went on a tirade about the production staff and how he was working with "f****** idiots". The next day musician Robert Randolph led his audience in a "Kanye sucks" chant, which was similar to the "booing" West received during his performance. Perhaps the weirdest name that spewed from Mr. West's mouth was "squid brains."He said, "WE WERE OBVIOUSLY DEALING WITH F___ING IDIOTS WHO DIDN'T REALLY HAVE THE CAPACITY TO REALLY PUT ON THIS SHOW PROPERLY. THEY TRIED 2 GIVE ME A TIME SLOT WHERE IT WAS STILL LIGHT OUTSIDE ... I HAVE A F___ING LIGHT SHOW DUMB A__, IT'S NOT CALLED GLOW IN THE DARK FOR NO REASON SQUID BRAINS!"Who knows, who really knows.

Kanye strays from the script
Then there's the time Kanye went off-script and told the universe that "George Bush doesn't care about black people," when he was supposed to be raising awareness for Hurricane Katrina. Poor Mike Myers, he had no idea what he was in for. The cameras cut from Kanye fast, leaving even comedian Chris Rock stunned.

Kanye West doesn't like phonies y'all....
Anyone whose followed the workings of Kanye West should know the man really likes to use CAPS and exclamation marks whenever he can. Case in point - in May 2009 West expressed his dislike for fake Twitter accounts. In response to an account that was apparently "Kanye West", the real KW wrote on his blog, "I DON'T HAVE A F___ING TWITTER....HEY TWITTER, TAKE THE SO CALLED KANYE WEST TWITTER DOWN NOW ... WHY? ... BECAUSE MY CAPS LOCK KEY IS LOUD!!!!!!!!!"Surely he got his point across, RIGHT?!!!?!!!!

Kanye against Justice vs. Simian

Releasing ‘Famous’
Another controversial moment that involved Taylor Swift came when Kanye released his “Life of Pablo” song, “Famous”. Understandably, the line “I fee like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that b***h famous” prompted her to slam the rapper in a statement released on Twitter in which she denies giving the rapper to call her a “b***h”.
The backlash prompted Kim Kardashian to release a video of Swift speaking about the controversial lyrics and giving the rapper the green light to release the song.
