Some of Hollywood’s biggest stars are giving back in a big way to support their fellow actors.
The SAG-AFTRA Foundation, which aids struggling union members in need through their Emergency Financial Assistance Program, announced that they have received over $15 million in donations, with a number of big stars donating $1 million each to help struggling actors through the strike, since the labour action began on July 14.
“Thanks to the support of some of Hollywood’s top-earning stars, the Foundation is preparing to bring aid and hope to thousands of journeymen actors facing tremendous economic hardship,” the foundation said in a press release.
