Pattinson will reportedly be playing a serial killer who enlists a lobbyist (Amy Adams) to change the law so that he'll be able to get away with murder more easily, with his cause catching fire in the media, transforming him into a celebrity.

“Dead Reckoning Part Two” will be the eighth and final film in the “Mission: Impossible” franchise, starring Tom Cruise as secret operative Ethan Hunt.

‘True Detective’ Unveils New Roster

HBO’s crime drama anthology “True Detective” has added John Hawkes (“Deadwood”), Christopher Eccleston (“Doctor Who”), Fiona Shaw (“Killing Eve”), Finn Bennett (“Domina”) and Anna Lambe (“Trickster”) to the season 4 roster.
The upcoming season, which is currently in pre-production, will see Hawkes play Hank Prior, a police officer; Eccleston play Ted Corsaro, the regional Chief of Police who has a long history tying him to Liz Danvers (Jodie Foster); Shaw play Rose Aguineau, a survivalist with a past full of secrets; Bennett play Peter Prior, Danvers’ protégé and apprentice; and Lambe will play Kayla Malee, a young nurse with little patience for anybody that messes with her family, as per The Hollywood Reporter.

Otmara Marrero (“Start-Up”) and rising star Katie Clarkson-Hill (“Hanna”) have been cast in Catalyst Studios’ action-packed film “Switch & Bait”, a story of a “seemingly naïve call girl (Clarkson-Hill) who escapes the clutches of a notorious gangster with a cell phone containing all his secrets,” Variety reports.
Marrero will play “a tough female cop who may or may not be crooked.” She is “given the job to get the witness, on time and in one piece to testify. However, it soon emerges that not everyone is who they pretend to be.”
The forthcoming film is Catalyst Studios’ first project to begin physical production after it launched its banner in May. Principal photography has already begun in Belgrade, Serbia.

He joins already announced cast members Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga who play Joker and Harley Quinn.
Todd Phillips will return to direct the film which is sad to be a musical in the style of “A Star is Born” which featured Gaga.

The new film is part of her two-movie deal with the streamer which includes her holiday movie “Falling For Christmas”.
The actress stars as Maddie, who becomes the bridesmaid at the Irish wedding of her best friend and the man she’s in love with. After wishing for her true love, she wakes up as the bride.

"Room" star Jacob Tremblay and Martin Freeman have begun production on the new movie "Queen Of Bones" in Ontario. Robert Budreau directs what has been described as an "elevated folk horror."
Written by Michael Burgner and co-starring Julia Butters and Taylor Schilling, the film follows twin siblings Lily (Butters) and Sam (Tremblay) who live at a remote homestead with their widowed father, Malcolm (Freeman), a violin maker in 1931 Oregon. When Lily and Sam find an Icelandic spell book in the cellar, they suspect a connection exists between their mother’s death and dark forces in the woods.

Netflix's upcoming film "The Pain Hustlers" has added some big names to its cast.
Catherine O'Hara, Andy Garcia, Jay Duplass, Chloe Coleman and Brian D'Arcy James are joining stars Emily Blunt and Chris Evans in the film, from "Harry Potter" director David Yates.
Desribed as a “hilarious, dramatic and wild journey to the corrupt heart of the American dream," the film is about a blue-collar woman who gets involved in a racketeering scheme at a pharmaceutical start-up.

The upcoming mystery teen romance "Zombie Town", based on the book by R.L. Stein has added two big names to the cast.
Dan Aykroyd and Chevy Chase have signed on to star in the film, which is expected to premiere in 2023.
Marlon Kazadi and Madi Monroe are the film's co-leads, playing teenagers on the run from zombies who literally leap off the movie theatre screen.

Teri Hatcher To Play Morticia Addams Onstage
Teri Hatcher is getting ghoulish, stepping into the role of Morticia Addams in an upcoming stage production of The Addams Family: The Musical.
The original Broadway production, starring Nathan Lane and Bebe Neuwirth opened in 2011.
Hatcher has previous stage experience, having played Sally Bowles in a production of Cabaret.

The One Direction-inspired fanfiction “The Idea of You” is getting a film adaptation with Anne Hathaway.
The movie is based on Robinne Lee’s debut novel of the same name and will be produced for Prime Video.
Hathaway stars as 40-year-old divorced mother, Sophie, who accompanies her teen daughter to Coachella. There she meets 24-year-old Hayes Campbell, who is loosely based on Harry Styles. They then begin a whirlwind romance.

The Canadian software company developed the BlackBerry, changing the way the world communicates. However, it evolved too slowly to compete with the likes of Apple's iPhone.
The movie, which was mostly shot in and around Hamilton, also stars Glenn Howerton, Michael Ironside, Martin Donovan, and more, the Globe and Mail reports.

Paul Rudd has been cast in “Only Murders In The Building” season 3 after making a cameo as Broadway star Ben Glenroy in the season 2 finale. Steven Pasquale, best known for his work on the FX series “Rescue Me", has signed on to the upcoming Neve Campbell-starring ABC drama “Avalon”. According to Variety, the show is set in the small town of Avalon on Catalina Island just off the coast of Los Angeles. Campbell plays a sheriff-detective who gets pulled into a career-defining mystery. Pasquale plays another sheriff who is assigned to the island.
David E. Kelly and Michael Connelly will executive-produce the series which is based on a short story by Connelly.

“Outlander” star Sam Heughan will take the lead role in the film adaptation of the popular PlayStation 4 game “Days Gone”.
The game is set in the Pacific Northwest after a global pandemic and follows Deacon St. John, a former motorcycle club member. He struggles to survive in this new devastating world and find the love of his life, all the while fending off mutated humans.
The project is in development from Sony PlayStation productions who saw success with their last video-game adaptation “Uncharted”.

Legendary rapper Fat Joe is taking on the world of comedy with a one-man standup show in New York City.
“The world will be getting Fat Joe at his most authentic, vulnerable, and comedic self on that stage,” he said in a press release. “I’m not holding anything back. I’ve always taken pride in my storytelling, but we’re about to take it to the next level.
The show will start with an introduction by Dave Chappelle.
