Have you heard of this obscure up-and-comer yet? She's a real wallflower and not at all into weird pranks at the Whitney Museum, flashing her undies, or talking about the mildest beef ever between her and Taylor Swift that will someday, God willing, be wrapped into the most influential pop opera of our time. JK! She does all those things and she's one of the biggest artists of our time with over 100 million records sold. 'Witness' comes out on June 9, it's the follow-up to her '13 album, 'Prism,' which spawned the megahits "Roar" and "Dark Horse." Check out Perry's latest single/Taylor Swift dis track, "Swish Swish."
'Melodrama' feels like the perfect title for a Lorde project, which is probably why the moody-pop New Zealander used it for her sophomore LP. It drops June 16. Check out the new hit single "Green Light" here.
Imagine Dragons'"Believer" is the lead track off 'Alternative,' the Las Vegas band's third album, and it's been dominating the Alternative Chart since it was released in March. Is this the rock song of the summer or will Montreal's Arcade Fire take over the summer rock charts now that their hit album 'Everything Now,' released at the end of July, is dominating the charts and the title track earned the legendary Grammy winners their first #1 hit?
Maybe you're going to see the Joshua Tree tour Friday, June 23, in Toronto and you need a fresh copy to get you amped up in advance. Maybe you only own the classic '87 album on cassette and you're ready to take the leap to CD or even — gasp! — digital. Maybe you can't resist anything labeled 'Super Deluxe' (we sure can't). Whatever your reason, the super-deluxe reissue of the U2 classic 'Joshua Tree' is out June 2.

Is it us or does this gang seem like the most prolific country group around? Seems like they're always dropping new music and crankin' out the hits. 'Heart Break,' out June 9, is the seventh album in nine years from this Nashville trio. Play the new single, "You Look Good," here.
'Sugar at the Gate' is the third album from these Montreal indie soft rockers who first made the scene with their 2012 debut, 'Tender Opposites.' Check out the lead single, "Petals," here. 'Sugar at the Gate' is out June 2.

We always get this Brighton, UK, duo mixed up with Royal Wood, the Toronto-based Juno-nominated singer-songwriter. But anyway, hard rockers Royal Blood are opening for Guns N' Roses to promote 'How Did We Get So Dark?', their second album, which is out June 16. The new single, "Lights Out" seems to provide a pretty solid answer to the question posed in the album title.

Everyone loves this band because they taught us how to type a triangle by pressing alt+J and also because they're a cool rock band from Leeds, England, who formed in 2007 and released their debut album, 'An Awesome Wave,' back in 2012. The album won the 2012 British Mercury Prize (kind of like our Polaris Prize in Canada). 'RELAXER,' out June 2, is the follow-up to 2014's chart-topping 'This Is All Yours.' Check out the single, "In Cold Blood" here.
The Scottish EDM star and former Taylor Swift flame will drop ‘Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1' on June 30. Can't wait that long? Harris has spoiled us with three advance singles (so far!), including the current hit "Slide ft. Frank Ocean & Migos."
Arts and Crafts
Co-produced by Grammy-winning producer Shawn Everett (Alabama Shakes) and Matt Smith (Owen Pallett), the 5-track 'Puff' EP is due out June 16. Hear the delicate, low-key, rhythmic lead single, "Talking About Her," here.
Tavis E. Triance & The Natural Way
Well, if you're looking for a brief respite from the terror of dying, have we got the album for you! The debut solo album from Vancouver psychedelic folk singer/songwriter Tavis E. Triance is called — wait for it — 'A Brief Respite From The Terror Of Dying' and it's out June 23. Give a listen to the single, "All You Got Is People."
'Goodnight, Tomorrow' is the third release from the Vancouver power-pop trio who've become famous for their raucous live shows. Rock out to "Back To The Bright" here and hope that it will hold you over 'til the full album is out on June 29.
