The world waited for his arrival with bated breath, and the day finally came on July 22, 2013. His parents, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, proudly posed with their future King outside the Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s Hospital in London.

It was all smiles for Prince George’s second birthday in 2015! The future king of England donned a Peter Pan collared shirt (his go-to!) for another spirited photoshoot with Mario Testino that saw no grumpy faces make the cut.

Causing A Stir
This adorable portrait of Prince George and the Royal family dog Lupo caused a social media meltdown after the Royal Society for the Prevention for Cruelty to Animals (RSCPA) released a statement advising the public against feeding their animals ice cream. “It is lovely that Prince George is trying to help keep his family dog, Lupo, cool in these high temperatures,” the organization wrote in a statement. “We would advise people to be cautious when giving their dogs food meant for human consumption as some items, like chocolate, can be highly toxic to dogs and dairy items can be difficult for them to digest.”
In honour of his third birthday, the Palace released four new photos of the little Prince swinging his way into another year. As always, George sported a cute pair of shorts and opted to go barefoot for this casual photo op.

Prince George planted one adorable kiss on his newborn sister, Princess Charlotte, for a series that saw him cradle her for another public portrait series.
A Bedtime Meeting With The Obamas
Prince George donned his finest nightwear to meet Barack and Michelle Obama back in April of 2016. The toddler pulled off one of his most adorable looks to fit in a late-night photo op with the U.S. President and FLOTUS months before they moved out of the White House.
