Emily Blunt is stepping into Julie Andrews’ shoes as Mary Poppins, who, in “Mary Poppins Returns” reunites with Jane and Michael Banks as adults.
The film focuses on Poppins' supercalifragilistic ability to bring joy -- something needed in the Banks family after a family tragedy sees Michael’s three children – Annabel, Georgie and John – left without joy.
Lin-Manuel Miranda co-stars as Jack, a street lamplighter, who boasts a strong similarity to Dick Van Dyke’s “chim chiminey” sweep from the 1964 film, Meryl Streep as Poppins' cousin Topsy, Emily Mortimer as Jane Banks and Colin Firth as William Weatherall Wilkins.

The story follows Rachel Chu, played by “Fresh Off the Boat” star Constance Wu, an NYC economics professor who goes on a family vacation with her boyfriend to Singapore, Nick Young, played by Henry Golding, to attend his best friend’s wedding.
Turns out, he’s a multi-zillionaire son of an affluent Asian family and the wedding they’re attending is the social event of the year.
Veteran actor Michelle Yeoh plays Nick’s overprotective mother Elanor, with Ken Jeong playing the father to Rachel’s Singapore bestie, “Ocean’s 8” star Awkwafina.

Based on the 2001 novel of the same name by Ann Patchett, the film also stars Ken Watanabe as Katsumi Hosokawa, an esteemed industrialist with a deep admiration for Moore's character.

'First Man'

Celebrating the 45th anniversary of Apollo 11's moon landing and telling the story of one of America's most famous astronauts, "First Man" is no small step for Hollywood.
Based on the biography by James R. Hansen (which was based on over 50 hours with the intensely private Neil Armstrong), the film takes you behind-the-scenes with an American hero.
Ryan Gosling plays the famed Astronaut, re-teaming with his "La La Land" director Damien Chazelle and co-staring "The Crown" star Claire Foy as Armstrong's wife.
The film made its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival, and will also screen at TIFF.

In the first book since Stieg Larsson’s death, the Millennium series continues, with author David Lagercrantz taking over and it seems the film adaptations are continuing as well with “The Crown” star Claire Foy stepping in for Rooney Mara and “Borg vs. McEnroe” star Sverrir Gudnason as Mikael Blomkvist.
The film centers on Blomkvist, who while struggling to make Millennium mag marketable again, finds himself embroiled in an international entanglement and crossing paths with the remarkable Lisbeth Salander.

'Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald'

The sequel to the “Harry Potter” prequel, “Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald” focuses on the dark wizard caught at the end of the first film: Gellert Grindelwald.
After escaping capture from MACUSA, Grindelwald gathers followers, most of whom are unaware of his real agenda: the rise of pure-blood wizards (sound familiar?).
Jude Law joins the cast as a young Albus Dumbledore, who enlists everyone’s favourite defender of magical beings, Newt Scamander, to help him track down a dangerous wizard in Paris.
Katherine Waterston, Alison Sudol and Dan Fogler return as Newt’s band of merry and muggle misfits, while Ezra Miller returns as the repressed wizard Credence, whom, we found out in the first film, was actually an Obscurial.
Other new faces in the cast include Callum Turner as Newt’s brother Theseus, Zoe Kravitz as Leta Lestrange, who is, yes, related to Bellatrix from the “Potter” series and whom we briefly saw in photographic form as one of Newt’s possessions.
