Bollywood actor Kader Khan has passed away at the age of 81.
The actor's son Sarfaraz confirmed the news to an Indian news outlet, revealing he died in Canada on New Year's Eve day.
“The last rites will be performed here in Canada only. We have our entire family here,” Sarfaraz told PTI.

Israeli author Amos Oz has passed away at the age of 79 after battling cancer. He was the author of several works of fiction, essays and articles, but is best known for writing "A Tale of Love and Darkness" and "Black Box".
Oz's daughter confirmed the news on Twitter, writing, "My beloved father, Amos Oz, a wonderful family man, an author, a man of peace and moderation, died today peacefully after a short battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his lovers and knew it to the end. May his good legacy continue to amend the world."

MacDermot was quite accomplished, winning multiple Grammy awards and a Tony Award for “Two Gentlemen of Verona” in 1972. In 2009, the composer was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.

"Wicked Tuna" star William "Willbilly" Hathaway has passed away aged 36 after being involved in a car accident in Salisbury, Maryland.
WBOC16 reported the star had been driving on Dec. 15 when someone turned in front of him, forcing him to swerve into a ditch.
He's then said to have called his wife to tell her he was OK, only to be found "not breathing and slumped over the centre console" later. The Maryland State Police reportedly confirmed there was no airbag deployment.

Nickelodeon confirmed the sad news on Twitter: “We are sad to share the news of the passing of Stephen Hillenburg, the creator of SpongeBob SquarePants. Today, we are observing a moment of silence to honour his life and work.”
In March, Hillenburg revealed he was diagnosed with ALS. “I wanted people to hear directly from me that I have been diagnosed with ALS.,” a statement from Hillenburg read. “Anyone who knows me knows that I will continue to work on ‘SpongeBob SquarePants’ and my other passions for as long as I am able. My family and I are grateful for the outpouring of love and support. We ask that our sincere request for privacy be honoured during this time.”

LFO singer Devin Lima has passed away at 41 after battling Stage 4 adrenal cancer, according to TMZ.
In October 2017, Lima had surgery to remove a tumour that was the size of a football.
Devin was one half of the musical duo, with the other being Brad Fischetti. LFO were originally a trio, but their third member Rich Cronin passed away in 2010 after a long fight with leukemia.

The family of the “Hee Haw” co-host confirmed he died on Thursday due to complications from pneumonia at his home in Tulsa, Okla.

A memorial celebration for Clark will be held in the coming days.

“Baba was the oldest member of any hip-hop collective and his mere presence in rap spoke volumes for the genre and for a generation looking for symbolic wisdom and answers,” the Grammy Award-winning group’s leader Speech said in a post following his death. “He was an activist for the homeless, a military veteran, a world traveler, spiritual advisor to the group, strict vegan, dancer, vocalist and avid roller skater.”

Rapper Young Greatness, real name Theodore Jones, was killed in a reported shooting outside a Waffle House in New Orleans early Monday morning.
Jones’ mother confirmed the news to New Orleans TV station WDSU News, saying, "It's too many mothers making slow walks to sad tombs.”
Authorities have yet to release details about the shooting, but Complex reports Jones died at the scene.

The well-known journalist, who had been hospitalized since November 21 after suffering a stroke in Cabo San Lucas, passed away in Las Vegas at 1.50 a.m. on August 24.
Columnist John Katsilometes wrote on Twitter: "Sad to report the death of famed celeb reporter, friend and colleague #RobinLeach @ 1:50 a.m. in #LasVegas. He would have been 77 Wednesday. He suffered a second stroke Monday. He in hospice care. He'd been hospitalized since Nov. 21, after suffering a stroke in Cabo San Lucas."

Derrick O’Connor, known for his roles in “Lethal Weapon 2” and “End Of Days”, has died at the age of 77.
O’Connor’s publicist confirmed that the Irish died on Friday of pneumonia in Santa Barbara.

Well known producer and singer-songwriter Richard Swift has suddenly passed at the age of 41.
The late musician was best known as being a crucial member for multiple bands like The Shins, The Black Keys and The Arcs. In addition, Swift released his own solo music and from time to time produced for artists like Sharon Van Etten, Foxygen, Guster and many more.
It was revealed in June that the singer had been hospitalized due to a “life-threatening condition.” There is no word on the official cause of death.

TMZ reports that the cause of death was heart failure. It was known that Boyd had a heart condition at the time of his death.

Famous chef and Peabody-winning host of CNN’s “Parts Unknown” Anthony Bourdain has died at 61.
CNN confirmed the news, noting the cause of death as suicide. Bourdain was found unresponsive in his hotel room in France. He was in the country working on an upcoming episode of his acclaimed TV series.
“It is with extraordinary sadness we can confirm the death of our friend and colleague, Anthony Bourdain,” CNN said in a statement. “His love of great adventure, new friends, fine food and drink and the remarkable stories of the world made him a unique storyteller. His talents never ceased to amaze us and we will miss him very much. Our thoughts and prayers are with his daughter and family at this incredibly difficult time.”

Fashion designer Kate Spade died on June 5, 2018 at the age of 55.
“Kate was the most beautiful woman in the world. She was the kindest person I’ve ever known and my best friend for 35 years,” her husband Andy Spade told The New York Times following her passing. “My daughter and I are devastated by her loss, and can’t even begin to fathom life without her. We are deeply heartbroken and miss her already.”
The designer died by an apparent suicide at her Manhattan apartment.

According to TMZ, O’Neill’s body was discovered by his girlfriend in the hallway of her apartment on Wednesday.

Jerry Maren, the world’s last living original munchkin from "The Wizard of Oz” has sadly passed away at 98 years old.
Although the cause of his death is still unknown, it has been reported that he suffered from dementia.
Back in March 2016, there had been multiple reports that he had died after a battle with pancreatic cancer. However, a close friend of the actor said that those reports weren’t true and that he still had years of life left to live.
Maren had a number of small roles over his career but was best known for being a member of the Lollipop Guild.

One of Dane’s co-stars, Rainn Wilson, shared the news on Twitter. “RIP Hugh Dane, aka Hank the security guard. He was one of the greats. So kind, funny, talented. We will all miss him,” he said, along with a link to a non-profit the actor was involved in.
Although Dane was best known for his role as Dunder Mifflin's Scranton branch enforcer, the actor also appeared on several other popular shows throughout his long career, such as “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air”, “Friends”, and “Boy Meets World”.

Mandan is survived by his wife, Sherry.

Clatsop County Sheriff’s office confirmed Painter was found dead in his Oregon apartment.

Australian "Home and Away" actress Jessica Falkholt succumbed to injuries suffered from a fatal car accident in New South Wales on Dec. 26.
Falkholt, 29, had her life support switched off last week and passed away on Wednesday. Her mom and dad died instantly in the same crash and the actress' sister also passed away.
