Darth Bane In ‘Star Wars: The Clone Wars’
Hamill said hello to the dark side when he took on the voice of villain Darth Bane for one episode of “The Clone Wars”. Much to Hamill’s surprise, the role won him his very first Emmy nomination. “Been doing the Joker for 25 years, never got an Emmy nomination,” he told GQ. “Did that character once; Emmy nomination.”
Megatronus In ‘Transformers: Power Of The Primes’
Up next for Hamill, the Hollywood legend has taken on the role Megatronus in the upcoming TV mini-series, “Transformers: Power of the Primes”. He’ll be joined by the voices of Ron Perlman, Jaime King, Judd Nelson and Will Wheaton for the star-studded project.
Currently in post-production, the series is slated to premiere in May of 2018.
Skips In ‘Regular Show’
Cartoon Network’s oddball animated series “Regular Show” received the Mark Hamill touch when he voiced the character of Skips the Yeti for eight years. The role, which Hamill doubted would resonate with youth, earned him an Annie Award in 2013.
Wolverine In ‘Wolverine’s Revenge’
Hamill lent his voice to Marvel’s Wolverine for 2003’s video game “Wolvering’s Revenger”. Released in conjunction with “X2: X-Men United”, Hamill brought just the right amount of grittiness, depth and wonder to the voice as his character pieced together his fragmented past while also searching for a cure to a deadly virus circulating in his blood.
Fear Feaster In ‘Adventure Time’
In a second Cartoon Network animated series, “Adventure Time” sees Hamill place his signature touch on the Fear Feaster, also known as the manifestation of main character Finn’s fears, and who is eventually banished back into Finn’s gut.
Undergrowth In ‘Danny Phantom’
For Nickelodeon’s “Danny Phantom”, Hamill voices Undergrowth — a strong phantom who aims to destroy humans for their careless destruction of Mother Nature. Among his long list of powers and abilities, Undergrowth is able to control plant life on a global level, infuse other creatures with his powers and cause multiple versions of himself to grow.
Hobgoblin In ‘Spider-Man’
In 1994, Hamill took his turn at voicing the Hobgoblin in Jason Macendale’s version of “Spider-Man: The Animated Series” from 1995 to 1998.
Firelord Ozai In ‘The Last Airbender’
Digging deep into his dark side for this role, Hamill gave it all he got when he voiced the role of Fire Lord Ozai for 10 episodes of the “Avatar: The Last Airbender”.
Evil Cat In ‘Powderpuff Girls’
Stepping in to voice yet another villain, Hamill received praise among fans and series-watchers for his role as Evil Cat in the “Cat Man Do” episode of the animated “Powerpuff Girls”.
Senator Stampingston In ‘Metalocaplypse’
Adult Swim’s “Metalocaplypse” series enlisted Hamill’s voice talents for the role of Senator Stampingston over the course of seven years. The role demanded another devious tone for the leader of the Tribunal aiming to take down the heavy metal band Dethklok.
