The Canadian Screen Awards will take place on Sunday, March 11, honouring the best in homegrown film and television, and here’s a sneak peek at some of the talent who’ll be on hand to join hosts Jonny Harris and Emma Hunter to present awards at this year’s gala.

CSAs presenter Eugene Levy is best known for his starring big screen roles in “Bringing Down The House”, “Cheaper By The Dozen 2” and “American Pie”. Levy’s large portfolio also includes voicing animation; in 2016 he starred alongside Ellen DeGeneres in the Disney/Pixar hit “Finding Dory”. On top of winning two Emmys and a Grammy, he co-owns a production company with his son, Dan Levy. Together, they produce the popular TV comedy series “Schitt’s Creek”.

Multi-award winning actor Amanda Brugel made her first debut alongside Christopher Walken in Vendetta. Voted as one of Hello! Canada’s “50 Most Beautiful,” this “Canadian Screen Awards” presenter broke into the Hollywood scene playing Officer Parker in the Academy Award winning feature, “Room”. In addition, Brugel has played roles in many award winning television series such as “Workin’ Moms”, “Orphan Black”, “Flashpoint” and “The Handmaid’s Tale”.

Well known for her role in “Bad Blood”, 2018 CSAs presenter Maxim Roy has been nominated for multiple awards including a Canadian Screen Award and a Gemini. In addition to being named one of “Canada’s 25 Most Beautiful Stars” and “The Sexiest and Most Beautiful Popular Actress,” this Montreal native devotes herself to several organizations such as Greenpeace and ANEB. Roy has over 100 films and television credits to her name, such as “Heartland”, “Shadowhunters” and “Regenesis”.

Shamier Anderson is best known for his recurring roles on “The Trailer Park Boys” and “Rookie Blue”, and is set to appear in Season 2 “Dear White People” on Netflix. Dividing his time between Los Angeles and Toronto, Anderson is certainly one to keep your eye out for as he’s on the steady rise from small to big screen.

Golden Globe Award nominee Billy Campbell will be one of the presenters for this year’s Canadian Screen Awards. Growing up, Campbell attended the American Academy of Art in Chicago. He eventually made his move to Los Angeles to train at Howard Fine. Campbell is best known for his lead role, opposite Sela Ward, in series “Once & Again”.
