This College Yearbook Photo
Just look at this college yearbook photo! That glorious, voluminous mane of luscious locks that would make even an '80s-era Jon Bon Jovi jealous! That charming smile! Those smirky eyes! We are dying over here. We would have had SUCH a college crush on him!
He Was In 'Clueless'
AS IF we'd make a list of reasons why Paul Rudd is the absolute best and not include his involvement in one of the best movies of the '90s, "Clueless". We'd be totally buggin' and like way harsh if we failed to recognize his like, totally dreamy portrayal of Josh.
He Gave Us Totes Magotes
Name a more adorable performance than Paul Rudd's portrayal as the loveably awkward Peter Klaven in "I Love You Man" we'll wait. The 2009 bromantic comedy gave us many gifts like Paul Rudd slapping da bass, and the accidental catchphrase "totes magotes." Thanks, Paul Rudd. We love you, man.
His Enthusiastic Lip Syncing
Because he's literally the best person ever, Paul Rudd approaches everything in life with equal parts enthusiasm and adorability and his 2014 appearance on "The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon" was no different. Paul and Jimmy engaged in a lip sync battle where Paul brought serious ferocity to his interpretations of Tina Turner's 'Better Be Good to Me," and Queen's 'Don't Stop Me Now.' We would never stop you, Paul.
He's A Talented Reenactor
Paul Rudd is not only a talented actor, he's also a gifted reenactor as evidenced by his and Jimmy Fallon's astoundingly accurate recreation of the early '90s video for
'King of Wishful Thinking' by the band Go West from the "Pretty Woman" soundtrack. This isn't the first time Paul has faithfully recreated a music video on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon." The guys previously shot a frame-for-frame remake of the Styx classic, ''Too Much Time On My Hands. Paul and Jimmy don't actually have a lot of time on their hands which is what makes these ultra-detailed recreations all the more epic.
His Commitment To Trolling Conan
For more than a decade and a half, whenever Paul Rudd would appear on Conan O'Brien's show to promote his latest project, when it came time to play a clip, he would troll Conan by playing the same clip from the obscure 1998 movie, "Mac And Me." Despite knowing the prank was coming every time he's on Conan, it's a joke that never gets old, much like Paul Rudd himself.
We don't know if Paul Rudd is an actual vampire, all we know is that the man does.not.age. One of these photos was taken 12 years ago while another was taken just last year. Can you tell which is which? If not, you're not alone. His agelessness is so profound it even prompted an Internet game. Paul Rudd has found a way to stop time. He's like a fine wine and we are very, very thirsty.
He Makes A Moustache Magnificent
Fact: not everyone can rock a moustache. Most men end up looking more "'70s porn star" than "Tom Selleck" but Paul Rudd is the rare exception, he actually pulls off the upper lip fuzz! Instead of giving us "creepy" vibes, a mustachioed Paul Rudd is giving us "sexy professor" vibes!
He Can Rock A Beard
Don't @ us but, as much as we enjoy a baby-faced Paul Rudd, we REALLY love him rocking this rugged mountain man facial hair. Dare we say he's even MORE handsome rocking a beard? Is it hot in here? Or is it just a bearded Paul Rudd?
He's Been Married Forever. To The Same Woman.
In an industry where many marriages often expire before a carton of milk, we can't help but love that Paul Rudd has been married to his wife, Julie Yaeger, since 2003. The couple share two children, daughter Darby and son Jack. And while we're not totally cool with having to share Paul Rudd, we will put aside our paralyzing jealousy to respect the couple for their 15-year marriage which is like, 50 in celebrity years.
His Devotion To His Hometown Team
When the Kansas City Royals won the World Series in 2015 there was no one more happy, outside of the players and coaches themselves, than Paul Rudd. The boyish baseball enthusiast, and former Kansas resident, was front and centre at many games, dressed in various team attire. His adorable, infectious enthusiasm - including declaring a post-game party was happening at his mom's house - almost had us cheering for the Royals over the Jays. Almost.
Enough said. Case closed.
His Sense Of Humour
Paul Rudd's social media is always good for a laugh, including this picture of himself cuddling up to his "Avengers" co-star Jeremy Renner.
"💍😌" he captioned the shot.
