This French DJ has sold over nine million albums and he's just about to put out his seventh album, which is probably why he called it '7'. It features collabs with heavy hitters like Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, Charli XCX and French Montana. It's out September 14.

Steven Page
Warner Music Canada
Can you believe it's been almost 10 years since Page left the Barenaked Ladies? Anyway, the established solo star is set to release his sixth solo record, 'Discipline: Heal Thyself, Pt. II' on September 14. It follows 2016's 'Heal Thyself, Pt. I: Instinct.'

Willie Nelson
Sony Legacy
Nelson honours fellow icon Frank Sinatra with 'My Way', an album of covers of songs made famous by Sinatra. (The song "My Way," BTW, was written by Canadian Paul Anka.) "I learned a lot about phrasing [by] listening to Frank," Nelson recently told AARP magazine. "He didn't worry about behind the beat or in front of the beat, or whatever—he could sing it either way, and that's the feeling you have to have." Nelson's new album will be available Sept. 14; the 85-year-old country icon is due to play Toronto September 9.

Cher

'Dancing Queen', a covers album of ABBA hits, drops September 28, coming on the heels of Cher's starring role in the smash hit ABBA-rific summer movie 'Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again', in which the 72-year-old plays Ruby, mom to Donna (Meryl Streep) and grandma of Sophie (Amanda Seyfried). We just heard a clip of the lead single, “SOS,” and no lie: we got chills. “I’ve always liked ABBA and saw the original 'Mamma Mia' musical on Broadway three times,” Cher said in a statement. “After filming 'Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again', I was reminded again of what great and timeless songs they wrote and started thinking ‘Why not do an album of their music?’ The songs were harder to sing than I imagined but I’m so happy with how the music came out. I’m really excited for people to hear it. It’s a perfect time.”

Rod Stewart
Decca/Republic
Stewart is putting Paul McCartney to shame: McCartney's only on his 25th career solo album and here's Rod Stewart pulling handily into the lead with the release of 'Blood Red Roses' on September 24, his 30th solo record. The rock idol is currently touring with Cyndi Lauper but had to postpone a show in Reno in late August due to a bronchial infection.

Liam Payne
@liampayne
Important Liam Update: This former One Direction member was originally set to release his debut solo album on September 14 but his breakup with 'X Factor UK' judge/baby mama Cheryl Cole means he wants to change some of the tracks so they're more inline with his life changes. For now, we'll have to make due with the four-song EP he released last month, 'First Time,' while we wait for news of the new release date for his debut.

Suede
Warner
Sure, Britney Spears' bare midriff got a lot of attention in the '90s but spare a thought, too, for Brett Anderson, leader of Britpop heroes Suede, who also memorably rocked a midriff-baring look. The London band are back September 21 with their eighth record, 'The Blue Hour'.
