Princess Eugenie's parents, Prince Andrew and Sarah, Duchess of York, announced their separation in 1992 just before Eugenie turned 2-years-old and were officially divorced in 1996. Despite the split, Fergie and Andrew remained amicable, demonstrating consciously uncoupled goals long before Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin became the model for divorced duos. The couple co-habitated post-split and also took family vacations together. In fact, it was on a family ski trip in 2010 where Eugenie met her soon-to-be-husband.

Eugenie has said that artist Jean-Michel Basquiat was a huge inspiration for her, citing seeing one of his shows in New York when she was 16-years-old as a "seminal moment" in her life. She later went on to study his work at school.
She Lived In NYC
After graduating from Newcastle University with degrees in Art History and Literature, Princess Eugenie crossed the pond to New York City in 2013 where she lived for two years, working as a benefit auctions manager for an online auction firm.

A catastrophic series of events would have to happen for Eugenie to ascend to the British throne. The princess is currently ninth in line with Prince Charles, Prince William, Prince Harry, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, Prince Louis, her father Prince Andrew, and sister Princess Beatrice all coming before her.
She's Not A Working Royal

Though she has a job, Eugenie is not considered a "working" member of the royal family meaning she is not obliged to carry out official royal duties like her cousins Princes William and Harry. However she does contribute to charity and lend her time to various causes and organizations like The Teenage Cancer Trust, The Coronet Theater, The European School of Osteopathy and the aforementioned Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital.
She's Got Famous Friends
While Harry and Meghan may have attracted celebrities like Oprah, Serena Williams, and George Clooney, Princess Eugenie has a few celeb chums of her own, counting Ellie Goulding, Ed Sheeran, Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss among her prestigious pals.
Her Fave TV Shows May Be Your Fave TV Shows
Eugenie may be royalty, but her taste in TV is pretty common. The Princess revealed to Harper's Bazaar in 2016 that she counts "How to Get Away With Murder", "Outlander" and "The Walking Dead" among her go-to series. And if you're wondering if she watches "The Crown", yes, she's seen it.
