Director Elizabeth Banks has officially found her angels for the 2019 reboot of “Charlie’s Angels”. The original “Charlie’s Angels” ran as a TV series from 1976-1981 and later became a movie franchise in the early 2000s. Since the original film, the Townsend Agency has gone global and is now a security and intelligence service that has teams around the world. The remake will focus on one of those teams and the next generation of Angels.
“Charlie’s Angels” will hit theaters on September 27, 2019.
