Pink Strikes Back At ‘Parenting Police’
Pink took to Instagram to sarcastically shutdown what she calls the “parenting police.” The singer posted a photo of her daughter running around in the sprinklers captioned: “Here’s a picture of my child running through water. It wasn’t even filtered. What a waste of water. And no helmet? I hope she had sunscreen. If she slips and falls she may be traumatized for life. And her mother wasn’t even there. I was..... gasp.... working!!!! In another country!”
Pink Is Forced To Defend Her Parenting Choices Again
As Pink’s tour makes a stop in Berlin, she posted this photo to Instagram of her kids at the Holocaust Memorial. Critics quickly commented on the post, bashing the singer for allowing her kids to run in a memorial. She edited her caption to explain herself: “Berlin, I love you. #holocaustmemorial #panamarestaurant #cocktailclasses #history #herstory #worldtour and for all of the comments; these two children are in actuality Jewish, as am I and the entirety of my mother’s family. The very person who constructed this believed in children being children, and to me this is a celebration of life after death. Please keep your hatred and judgment to yourselves.”
The ‘Little Purple Troll’
Pink wasn't afraid of calling out a Twitter troll after the hater tweeted that "Pink looks so old that she should be named purple instead."
"You must be from LA," the "Beautiful Trauma" singer replied. "Well, there are a few people left in the world that choose to age naturally. And I've earned every f**king minute of my 38 years. How you lookin' though? Cause I never heard of you till you put my name in your mouth. I shall call you little purple troll."
Super Bowl Shutdown
Pink had an epic clapback after an online hater said she "sucked" during her Super Bowl National Anthem performance in 2018.
After seeing the tweet, she hit back with: "Yeah but at least I suck while singing our country's national anthem, and you just suck by yourself on a dirty couch. #winning."
A Well Deserved Break
After being accused of cancelling a show on her "Beautiful Trauma" world tour to have a day at the beach, Pink shut-down the rumours with one epic Instagram post.
"I don’t need to clear this up, but out of respect for my fans I will attempt it. I scheduled this tour meticulously, trying to do what was best for my children, while also putting on the best and most physically demanding and beautiful show of my life," she explained. "This break in Byron has been scheduled since 2017, as a way to get outside the hotel and the winter and have some time with my children."
Sticking Up For Carey
When her hubby Carey Hart was the target of social media criticism over his parenting of their two children, Willow, 7, and Jameson, 2, Pink came to his defence: "You sound well informed on the performance of my husband as a father. Answer me this: how often have you watched him parent? Do you know my children? Are you aware of their development? Even better: what are your credentials in parenting expertise? Are you a perfect parent? S**t, are you even a parent? A psychologist? A teacher?"
Sticking Up For Carey Part 2
Pink slammed an online bully who came for her husband Carey Hart once again.
In a single tweet, the singer let the world know enough is enough.
“In the interest of saving Internet space… this here is a Hart Family PSA. There is gonna be a s**tload of motorcycle riding, chocolate eating, fun having, and naked dance parties going on," she wrote. "Now we know. Now we can get back to the other dumb s**t we were doing.”
Pink shared a killer clapback after Recording Academy President Neil Portnow encouraged women who want to be part of the industry to "step up" following the 2018 Grammys.
"Women in music don't need to 'step up'—women have been stepping since the beginning of time. Stepping up, and also stepping aside," she wrote on Twitter. "Women owned music this year. They've been killing it. And every year before this."
She continued, "When we celebrate and honour the talent and accomplishments of women, and how much women step up every year, against all odds, we show the next generation of women and girls and boys and men what it means to be equal and what it looks like to be fair."
After posting a photo of her son Jameson wearing only a t-shirt and scribbled out waist area, Pink slammed trolls who attacked her for posting the image.
“There’s something seriously wrong with a lot of you out there,” Pink wrote under the photo on Instagram. “Going off about my baby’s penis? About circumcision??? Are you for real? As any normal mother at the beach, I didn’t even notice he took off his swim diaper.”
Family Time Fun
Pink posted what she thought was a nice family photo, enjoying a quiet dinner together but it was quickly met with criticism.
In the caption of the adorable snap, Pink revealed they had "shut the door to the outside world and have family dinner."
But when someone called her out for using Instagram to post the image, she quickly clapped back writing, “Yes, I like to promote healthy stuff. I also like to remind people to stop being TOTAL D****E BAGS TOO. Consider this your reminder, f**k.”
A Message To ‘Keyboard Warriors'
In a simple message to her constant online trolls, Pink shared a selfie with her middle finger up, writing: "This one goes out to all the keyboard warriors #LetMeSeeIfIGiveASh*t #Nope #StillDont #HaveAGreatHumpDayEveryBody."
With all the comebacks, Pink refuses to apologize when it comes to what she calls “polarizing opinions.”
“I’m a big believer in apologies when you’re wrong,” she explained in an Instagram post. “I was raised by a Vietnam Veteran who taught me to stand up for what I believe to be right. Even if that means standing alone.”
She added, “I do not now, nor have I ever apologized for some of my very polarizing opinions. If you are surprised by this, or offended, you have every right to unfollow me, as you really don’t know who I am. I am mostly peace and love, with a little bit of go f**k yourself.”
