Chrissy Teigen Shrugs Off Instagram Mom-Shamers
Chrissy Teigen shared a proud moment on Instagram, but knew it would be met with criticism.
The mom-of-two posted a sweet video of daughter Luna, 3, at her first ever dentist appointment. But one commenter had to pick at something: "My daughter started seeing a dentist at a year old.”
So Teigen struck back, “Was waiting for this... you guys never fail me.”
‘I Hate To Say This But…’
While opening up about gaining a few pounds after welcoming baby Miles, Chrissy had no time for the troll that called her “chubby," writing, “Teigen likes to attack people, so I’m attacking her weight. Chubby needs to go to the gym.”
She did not let that slide. “I hate to say this… but you are not a small person? Also, I don’t care about my weight so this does not hurt.”
She added, “I can guarantee he is not a handsome man.”

A troll complained about being sick of seeing Chrissy's breastfeeding pics, writing, "Menstruating, childbirth and sex are natural too, but that doesn’t mean I want to see pics of it… We get it.”
Chrissy had a genius response: “I don’t care to see grainy fireworks, Coachella selfies or infinity pool pics, but I let people live,” she replied. “Calm your t*ts and scroll on by.”
What About John?
While taking a break backstage at “The Voice” as she waited for hubby John Legend, Chrissy cuddled up with daughter Luna and baby Miles. But as many noticed, Chrissy fed the youngster with a bottle which some followers had a problem with.
“You no longer breastfeed?” a Instagram user commented, which prompted this simple but effective response from Chrissy:, “John never breastfed Miles.”
The Emmys Clapback
At the 2018 Emmys, someone implied she looked pregnant while walking the red carpet, writing, “I’m asking this with the utmost respect, but is Chrissy Teigen pregnant again?”
And Chrissy literally responded from inside the awards ceremony: “I just had a baby but thank you for being so respectful.”
As one of Glamour magazine’s Women of the Year in 2018, Chrissy wowed as one of the eight cover stars.
But to the one critic who said the photo was “quite frankly, awful,” Chrissy had an epic response: “Thank you, Heidi. In the future I will try harder to be the best cover model. If you could please send me specific tips and tricks (or past covers you’ve shot for reference) that would be so awesome.”
Short Hair, Don’t Care
Chrissy hoped into the Instagram comment section after a troll slammed her short-hair look, claiming, “Girls with round faces should not have short hair like that. It makes your face look huge.”
“Honestly wow, thank you,” Chrissy fired back. “When I wake up each morning I wonder what @bcnjw would do and then I try to make her happy so this was a mistake on my part.”
The Backhanded Compliment
After posting a throwback photo of herself and hubby John Legend at the 2008 Grammys, Chrissy defended herself to someone who claimed she looked stunning "before the boobies and the fillers.”
“Boobies and fillers?” she clapped back. “F**k off with your backhanded s**t.”
She later added, “Two babies and ten years. Bye.”
‘A Plane Is A Plane’
How can an adorable pic of a jet-legged John Legend and baby Luna stir up controversy? One troll figured out how by leaving the comment, “I didn’t know you could get private jet lagged.”
But she set it straight: “A plane is a plane. What, do you think it’s a time machine?”
Sticking Up For Her Man
While live-tweeting during John Legend’s performance in “Jesus Christ Superstar”, Chrissy came across a comment from former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly.
“Watching ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’ on NBC,” O’Reilly wrote. “Who knew Jesus of Nazareth ran a tattoo parlour? Geez.”
And in one swift motion, she took him down, “Yes, the shop specializes in cover-ups that aren’t 32 million dollars.”
Teigen’s remark refers to the whopping $32-million settlement O’Reilly paid a former Fox News analyst after she accused him of sexual harassment in 2017.
Chrissy caused outrage when she let fans in on her dinner plans, red wine-braised short ribs, for John and Luna.
“Did you give your kid a food with red wine in it?” someone questioned.
“Yeah,” Chrissy shot back with sarcasm. “She gets wasted and sleeps all through the night.”
